Set in the seaside town of White Rock, B.C., Private Investigator Jackson Cole may be a nostalgia buff, but he’ll be the first to tell you that not everything is better when it’s older: the trail of accountant William Moore has certainly not improved in the half-decade since he disappeared.

Jackson, though, has a fantastic team: between retired forensic scientist Sam (his best friend and trivia-genius sparring partner) and hacker extraordinaire Emily (his ex-wife and current flame), he’s got the best chance of anyone of finding a man who’s left no trace.

But William’s abandoned daughter Grace, who’s not sure if her dad’s still alive, isn’t the only one he left with unfinished business. Even after all this time, someone else is pursuing this missing man, Someone who’s determined, dangerous and not above leveraging Jackson to achieve their goal.
